STORY FOR FOOD
an alternative economy based on stories
After nourishment, shelter and companionship, stories are the thing we need most in the world.
- Philip Pullman
›⃝ Our podcast Stories in Berlin is back with Season 3 in May 2021.
Stories in Berlin is a storytelling podcast that delves into the cobbled streets of Berlin and explores the city's history through anecdotes, personal tales and experiences of Berliners, old and new.
Created by Christina Kyriazidi, the founder of the STORY FOR FOOD initiative, this podcast tours Berlin to audio collect stories that otherwise would be lost.
-------- Season 3 is launched in May 2021 for a total of 14 episodes. In this season, Christina will read for you, chapter by chapter, one chapter per episode, her novel The Berliners, a collection of semi-fictional stories about the life of Berliners during the corona pandemic.
All stories take place on the same night, in late November 2020, in a lockdown Berlin. Every chapter tells the story of a different Berliner.

Send us your lockdown story and we will translate it into a song
In September 2021, in order to celebrate the 5 years of the STORY FOR FOOD project and the 3 years of our radio show, we will release the playlist of The Lockdown Songs and broadcast them on the radio together with the stories that inspired them.
Our aim is to collect lockdown stories and give back to every storyteller a SONGBACK experience.
With SONGBACK we make a song out of your story
A songwriter transforms your story into a song. Your thoughts and feelings are translated into words and melodies for a telling to singing experience: from the speaking word to the singing narrative.
A chance to sing your story.
