How It Works
Right now we are collaborating with existing establishments (coffee shops, bookshops, ice-cream shops, cinemas etc, find all information here (LINK)), where our STORY INSTALLATION is waiting for you!
You want to share a story with us? Yes, please!
The story can be true or fictitious — or a mix of both. Any story, language, theme and duration is welcome, provided that it’s previously undocumented.
When we record your story, it becomes part of our story-archive, where the stories are displayed anonymously and with matching tags.
In exchange for sharing your story with us you’ll get a little „Thank You“ like chocolate, coffee or a reduced ticket.

The Story Archive
Every recorded story becomes part of our story archive. The archive is thought for several occasions.
So first people have the chance to just come by and listen to stories of strangers. There’s a story catalogue with the matching tags, language and description of each story, so the listeners can choose one matching their mood.
Put on the headphones, choose a story and enjoy!
We also select some stories for our special events - of course only with the teller’s permission. Then we translate your story into food (FOODBACK), sweets (SWEETBACK), music (MUSICBACK), object (ARTBACK) or perfume (AROMABACK). In this way your story can travel from your memory or imagination to the inspiration and creation of someone else.

The Story House
Our ultimate goal of STORY FOR FOOD is to become a story-house: a unique coffee shop in Europe where you can trade your story for food and drinks. It will be the home of our story archive, and it will host all sorts of story related events, bringing together story enthusiasts with artists, tellers with listeners.

Under this agreement, STORY FOR FOOD reserves all the rights related to the recording of the above story. STORY FOR FOOD will use the recording of your story for its story-archive (both physical and online) and make it available for anyone interested in listening to it. By signing this agreement you allow the above described use. Regarding the described use, your claims are restricted to the ones mentioned in the following. In the event that the story is purchased and used for any commercial reason by a third party, other than STORY FOR FOOD, then a royalty of XXXX is payable. 50% of the royalty shall be paid to the owner of the story and 50% to the initiative STORY FOR FOOD. The storyteller retains intellectual ownership and copyright of the story, and the use of the story for any commercial purpose by a third party, other than STORY FOR FOOD, requires the owner’s express consent and written approval.
